For 12 years, MND and Dad were unwilling housemates and we’re not sure MND realised who it had taken on. Ian Bain fought it every single day with grit, humour and stubborn strength. As a family, we raised over £5,000 for MND Scotland through birthday donations, photography exhibitions, Donald bravely waxing his legs, and much more. Though Dad didn’t win the final round, he never stopped fighting. If determination could defeat MND, it wouldn’t have stood a chance.
